PLC WORK: This year we are continuing our commitment to PLC work. We will be spending time during workshop week, as well as throughout the year, to continue our learning about the PLC process, using formative assessments to identify next steps of instruction for our students, and deepening our conversations about best practices to ensure learning for all students.
Think Deeply...
ENGAGEMENT: It will be important to continue our excitement in order to encourage a love of learning in ALL of our students. While there will always be standards to meet, we will remember that students need to be engaged in meaningful and challenging learning.
Care for our Community...
WHOLE CHILD: We will be committed to identifying ways to meet the physical, social/emotional, and academic needs of all of our Houlton students.
