January 24th: full day of All Staff Professional Development
- Support Staff will be paid for the day, if able to attend.
- 8:00 am - 9:30 am Building-based Trauma Sensitive (HHS)
- 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Speaker: Dr. Klem @ HS Auditorium
- Dr. Klem will provide an overview of what trauma and adverse childhood experiences are and how these events impact development. He will specifically talk about how these experiences influence our emotional, cognitive, and behavioral development. Next he will link this information to specific mental health disorders and how these disorders manifest in the schools. He will also be sharing strategies school personnel can use to support individual students.
- 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm Survey Share Out and Next Step Discussion (Houlton Media Center)
- 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm SLO Mid Year Work
- Here is a presentation that discusses the mid-year SLO. It also touches on documentation logs (all certified-submission for Year 3) and survey reflections (Year 2)
